Hellblade 2 aims to revolutionize facial expressions in gaming; Demonstration of UE5 and MetaHuman features

Developers from Ninja Theory presented short footage from Hellblade II. While the video does not show the gameplay, attention is drawn to the realistic facial expressions of the protagonist.
The upcoming Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is one of the most promising games out there and a potential trump card up Microsoft’s sleeve. This is evidenced, for example, by the latest teaser presented at the ongoing Game Developers Conference event.
However, this time it’s not gameplay, but a brief demonstration of the Unreal Engine 5 and MetaHuman technology that developers from Ninja Theory use in their work on the game. The effects of their use – visible in the facial expressions of the characters – can be seen in the video above, and, like the developers, we recommend watching the footage with headphones, because Hellblade II is not only about beautiful graphics, but also about surround sound.
Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is coming to PC, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X (it’s also coming to Game Pass). The developers have not yet announced a release date for the game.
