Overwatch 2 Characters

Overwatch 2 characters that were announced as of my knowledge cutoff date of September 2021:
-
Sojourn: Sojourn is a new hero who was previously introduced in the game’s lore as a member of the Overwatch strike team. She is a Canadian hero who wields a rifle that can fire in rapid bursts, allowing her to deal damage quickly and precisely. Sojourn’s abilities have not been fully revealed yet, but it is expected that she will have a mobility skill that allows her to move quickly and evade enemy fire.
-
Echo: Echo was introduced as a playable character in Overwatch before the announcement of Overwatch 2, but she will be featured prominently in the game’s story mode. Echo is an omnic with the ability to duplicate the abilities of other heroes on the battlefield. This allows her to adapt to different situations and playstyles, making her a versatile addition to any team. In addition, Echo has the ability to fly, allowing her to reach high places and avoid ground-based attacks.
-
Null Sector: Null Sector is a new faction of robots that will be introduced in Overwatch 2’s PvE story mode. The Null Sector robots have unique abilities and tactics that players will have to adapt to in order to succeed. For example, some Null Sector robots may have shields that require teamwork to break through, while others may have the ability to deploy turrets or create barriers. The inclusion of Null Sector robots in the game’s PvE mode will provide a fresh challenge for players who are used to fighting against human opponents.
It is worth noting that these are not the only new heroes that will be included in Overwatch 2. Blizzard Entertainment has hinted that there may be additional heroes that have not yet been announced, so it is possible that there will be even more new characters to look forward to. Additionally, all of the heroes from the original Overwatch game will also be available in Overwatch 2, with some updates to their abilities and playstyles.
