When Will Refurbished PC and Console Sales Begin?
According to the new decision published in the Official Gazette, from now on, renewal centers will be able to renew computers, smart watches, game consoles and modems and sell these devices.
In other words, there is no limit to only smartphone and tablet anymore. You will also be able to purchase a refurbished computer. Of course, all these renovation works will be done by renewal centers that have a certificate of authority. We do not know which centers will take this step or when sales will start for refurbished devices.
Are There New Terms for Refurbished Phones?
According to the same decision published in the Official Gazette, some changes were also introduced for refurbished smartphone sales . According to this;
- Refurbished smartphones will need to replace their batteries in order to re-sell smartphones whose battery health has fallen below 85% .
- The paid-in capital requirement for obtaining a renewal authorization certificate has been increased to 30 million TL instead of 10 million TL . In addition, companies with a paid-in capital of less than 30 million TL will have to complete their paid-in capital to 30 million TL by 1 January 2024 .
Refurbished computer, refurbished game console and refurbished wearables. It seems that these new categories will soon lead to the emergence of new alternatives for higher prices.
